Counseling Services of Greater Boston is pleased to announce CSGB Georgetown will be opening on Monday, May 1, 2017!   Counseling Services of Greater Boston will be located on the second floor of 64 Central Street in Georgetown.  We are currently taking referrals!  If you or a loved one on the North Shore is interested in a session, please call our intake line at (781) 328-1904 x100.

Clinician Spotlight: March

IMG_20160827_184549Meet Deborah Williams, LMHC!  Deborah is a licensed clinician that works with adolescents, children, adults, and families. Her approach is cognitive behavior therapy and practicing mindfulness. She specializes in working with adolescent girls; she aims to help build a strong sense of identity, and gives them the tools to work through conflict.  She also sees children and families, and helps them both to communicate more positively with each other.

CSGB: Recipients of the 2016 MLK Service Award

Out of the Darkness Walk

On Saturday, September 24th, Counseling Services will be participating in Wakefield’s “Out of the Darkness” walk, for the second year in a row.  Out of the Darkness walks happen around the country, and raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention.  When you donate money or time to this organization you are providing for increased research and education about suicide, and for increased support for those affected by suicide loss.  There is still time to get involved!  Please visit the organization’s website here to join us.

DSC_0046Meet Nova!  Nova Carmichael, LMHC, R-DMT, is a somatic therapist who utilizes movement, body awareness, mindfulness techniques, cognitive coping skills, and trauma informed care to support the needs and goals of her clients. Nova works with children ages 3 and up, adolescents, adults, and families.
