Counseling Services of Greater Boston's Patricia Sweeney, LMHC utilizes many approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral, Person Centered Solution Focused, and Play Therapy, as well as active listening. She strives to provide a trusting, warm, inviting, and supportive environment. Her areas of focus include women’s issues, self-esteem, trauma, anxiety, depression, children’s issues, and parenting skills.
In addition, Patricia has worked in the education field as a classroom teacher, literacy specialist and school administrator. As such she has extensive experience working with children and adolescents struggling with school behavior issues, ADHD and learning disabilities, as well as with parents who need guidance and support around learning to cope with and understand their child’s educational struggles.
