My therapeutic work is founded on fostering a safe, warm, and welcoming space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and feelings. I work with children, adolescents and adults, incorporating elements of mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, TF-CBT, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and ACT.
I identify as LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent and have clinical experience with these communities. I’ve also worked extensively with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My approach is tailored to the individual, acknowledging the impact of their environments and intersecting identities. Additionally, I incorporate a person’s unique strengths and interests to bring a sense of familiarity and fun to a process that may otherwise feel somewhat daunting.
I completed my MSW at Simmons University where I was awarded the Shirley Saks Greenberg Award for outstanding achievement in the application of theory to clinical practice with youth and families. I have completed additional training in the areas of trauma-informed care and neurodivergence. I have worked in various treatment settings including community mental health centers and In Home Therapy (IHT).
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend and two very fluffy cats, hiking and being out exploring, playing video or board games, singing, and crafting.
