Lead First Responder Clinician | Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor

Taking charge of your life is invaluable, and during times of distress and discomfort, this can be a daunting task. Embarking on the journey of recovery can be intimidating and daunting, so finding the right therapist is essential to make this process comfortable and safe.

I have many years of experience treating adults with addiction and/or mental health disorders, and specialize in the following areas: substance use disorders, anger management, depression, anxiety, grief, interpersonal relationship issues and trauma. I have been trained in the following therapies: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Restructuring (CR) for PTSD, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD. My therapeutic style includes supporting and teaching with a dash of humor (where appropriate). With warmth and compassion, I invite you to partner with me on this journey of recovery, one step at a time, knowing that you will be in charge, every step of the way.

I hold a Master degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Salem State University. I also hold CADC (Alcohol Drug Certification). Additionally, I have advanced training in Motivational Interviewing and train clinical staff at a non-profit agency and at Boston College. I also have been trained in Critical Incident Stress Management and am part of a critical incident response team.
