I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. My clinical experience includes schools and community mental health settings. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan. I treat a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, personality disorders, thought disorders, and behavioral challenges.
Every client brings a unique story, strengths, and goals. Because of this, I tailor my therapeutic approach to each person's needs. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth and lasting change. My work is rooted in psychodynamic therapy and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic interventions, and other evidence-based techniques. I have specialized training in trauma treatment and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. When working with children, I also incorporate developmentally appropriate play therapy.
I strive to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment. Clients are encouraged to deepen self-awareness and better understand long-standing patterns of thoughts and behaviors. Together, we build practical coping skills and healthy strategies for life's challenges. My goal is to help clients foster healing, resilience, and meaningful personal growth.
