Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

We are committed to cultivating an environment where these three values: diversity, equity, and inclusion are celebrated, strengthened, and attempts to impede are challenged. This is a lived experience for our clients, clinicians, and our community. We honor the effort and courage it takes to challenge everyday unhelpful norms and cruel stereotypes. To the best of our abilities, we continue to educate ourselves and examine the origins of our beliefs so that we can provide a humble and affirming ground from where self-discovery can grow. This is hard and complicated work.

DEI Officer

We have created a specific role within our practice to support strategic planning and ongoing implementation of DEI goals and objectives.

Staff Surveys

Surveys are periodically conducted to receive anonymous feedback from staff on areas of needed growth, strength, and interest in new initiatives.

Discussion Groups

Discussion groups are held periodically to discuss DEI topics and current events that are impacting us as individuals and as clinicians.

Continued Education

Interesting articles and DEI related resources are regularly shared with staff in order to support continued learning and access to new information.

Social Media Awareness

Our social media posts are mindfully curated in order to promote and support DEI initiatives.

Improvement Projects

Annual goals and objectives are made as part of our strategic planning process. Matters such as our intake process, hiring practices, evaluating our physical spaces, and understanding our community are explored.
