CSGB is committed to transparency in billing practices, ensuring that clients clearly understand their financial responsibilities before and during treatment. Our staff and clinicians work closely with clients to help understand insurance coverage, answer billing questions, and provide support in understanding statements and out-of-pocket costs.
During our scheduling process we ask for a copy of your insurance card (front and back) to verify active coverage. In the event that we are unable to confirm coverage, we will ask for your cooperation to contact your insurance plan and verify that your provider is in network.
What is a carve-out?: Large insurance companies will sometimes use a smaller third-party to manage your behavioral health benefits. (For example, your medical coverage may be covered by Cigna, but your behavioral health coverage is covered by UMR.) The back of your insurance card will often provide more detailed information about possible carve-outs.
