As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, I enjoy working with clients across the lifespan. I support children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, as well as couples and families. I have extensive training in ADHD, anxiety, and PTSD. Additional areas of focus include depression, borderline personality disorder (BPD), grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions.
My passion for mental health centers on helping clients navigate challenges and build practical coping skills. Together, we develop stress management strategies that can support well-being both inside and outside of therapy. Throughout this process, I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment. I want clients to feel heard, understood, and validated.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and individualized. I believe therapy is not "one size fits all." Because of this, I encourage clients to take an active role in their healing and personal growth.
Depending on each client's needs, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Relational-Cultural Therapy. I also draw from trauma-informed care, play therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered therapy. In addition, treatment may include somatic techniques and strengths-based approaches. Integrating these approaches allows me to adapt therapy to each client's individual needs.
My clinical background as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist includes experience in both partial hospitalization and outpatient mental health settings. In these settings, I have worked with diverse clients experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns. I also bring 10 years of experience working in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). As a result, these experiences have helped shape my flexible and individualized approach to mental health care.
Most importantly, I want clients to feel comfortable being themselves in therapy. I often use humor and appropriate self-disclosure to build connection and make therapy feel more approachable. Whether working with an individual, couple, or family, I aim to create a collaborative and supportive experience. Ultimately, I want therapy to feel creative, engaging, and grounded in each client's unique strengths.
