Dusuba Koroma, LADC1

Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor

I am very passionate about helping people overcome their emotional pain and have dedicated over 20 years to providing mental health treatment. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, working with children, teens, adults, family groups, and couples. I specialize in working with adults who struggle with combinations of addiction and mood disorders. I have a strong affinity for Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques. Most importantly, I am person-centered in my approach and strive to create a comfortable, welcoming, and safe therapeutic environment. I currently hold a LADC1 and waiting for my LMHC to better reflect my diverse skill set.

The most gratifying experience is to see people’s lives change for the better, as I help each client achieve the most positive outcomes in treatment.

I graduated from Rivier University with a Master’s degree in Counseling, specializing in Addictions Counseling. I am currently working towards completing my PHD at Walden University.
