Lyndsey Killilea, LICSW

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has been in practice for 17 years. I truly believe everyone can benefit from therapy and consider this work impactful to all. Beginning this journey is no easy fete, as it's never easy to acknowledge or ask for help. I consider myself lucky to be the one to help you through your toughest moments and guide you to a path of mental well being. You having the opportunity to be your best self and living your best life is my ultimate goal.

I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, and couples. I specialize in addressing the negative impacts of anxiety and depression. I focus on building trust and co-creating a therapeutic relationship where the client can build the skills they need to meet their mental health goals. I utilize a variety of approaches including CBT and DBT.

I completed my BA in Psychology at Umass Dartmouth and my MS in Social Work at Boston University. I have worked in the Public School Systems for the past 17 years helping students and their families navigate the school environment when it comes to finding proper supports and necessary accommodations. This experience has provided me specialized knowledge in navigating the relationship between school challenges, family dynamics, and mental health needs. I am also passionate about working with underserved communities and collaborate with nonprofit organizations that provide much needed access to mental health treatment.
